Kantara Movie: A brilliant fairy tale telling of Tulunadu
Kantara movie is an adventure drama thriller where Rishab Shetty lives a life in front and behind the camera. Movie casts include Sapthami Gowda in the main lead roles along with Kishore, Achuth Kumar, Pramod Shetty, Vinay Biddappa and many others seen in supporting roles alongside Rishab himself. The music and cinematography is by B Ajaneesh Loknath and Arvind S Kashyap respectively. The film is produced under the Hombale Films banner by Vijay Kiragandur.
Story
In Kantara, the forest plays a significant role. People in the town live as children of the forest, blending with it on one side. This is very much in the daily life of people coming from the coastal belt of Karnataka, called as Tulunadu. People from Tulunadu live amidst the nature worshipping and celebrating every form of it. Local traditions and culture from the coastal belt is very brilliantly conveyed through this movie.
With the release of this movie – there has been request from the local crowds of Tulunadu to have this movie also released in Tulu (A native language). The makers of the movie are yet to respond on this. The movie is successfully running in the state and have already garnered accolades.
