Heavy rains hit Mangalore, Udupi: IMD forecasts yellow alert
Scattered rain has been reported across the districts. There has been torrential rain in some parts of Udupi district. It has rained in Byndur, Kundapur, Kapu, Hebri, Brahmavara and Udupi parts. Around Udupi, Manipal, Parkala, Malpe there has been continuous rain from morning to afternoon.
As per Indian Meteorological Department forecast, heavy rain is expected in the coastal belt on October 2. Yellow alert is declared.
