Kudla’da Pili Parba 2022: First Edition Inaugurated with fan fair

Much needed and hyped event - Kudla'da Pili Parba 2022 was inaugurated by Minister of Culture Sunil Kumar. Mangalore South MLA Vedavyas Kamath and Mangalore Loksabha MP Nalin Kumar Kateel's brain child was organised by Kudla Samskruthika Prathistana.

Mangalore: First edition of Kudla’da Pili Parba 2022 (Tiger Dance Competition) was inaugurated by Kannada and Culture Minister V Sunil Kumar along with other dignitaries. This event was organised by Kudla Samskruthika Prathistana at Nehru Maidan here on Sunday, October 2. Around 12 teams from Tulunadu (coastal Karnataka) participated in this event.

Speaking on this occasion, Mangalore South MLA D Vedevyas Kamath shared that Karnataka Government allotted 5 lakhs for this event. More such events will be held by the ministry of culture in the future. Traditions of Tulunadu will henceforth be staged in government sponsored events to create awareness.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Chairman of SCDCC Bank MN Rajendra Kumar, Mayor Jayananda Anchan, Deputy Mayor Poornima, BJP district president Sudarshan Moodbidri, former mayors Diwakar Pandeshwar and Premanand Shetty among others were present.
